Can't say much without seeing geometry but putting a 27.5 wheel out back and a 29er out front is not currently all the rage in MTB circles. And that's before we get to the battery and motor situation!

Actually, I would suggest that current MTB is quite focused but only if you know what you are doing and why... therefore it's a marketing picnic for the those that target the uninitiated...

That might make sense if it wasn’t the most wholly initiated leading the charge. Moreover I think you grandly overrate those in the industry. They grew up feasting on images like this that still permeate their alcohol sodden brains.

That’s because UCI World Cup rules don’t allow for different size wheels, if they did I guarantee  DH riders would be rocking a 29/27.5 set up.
